1. Introduction
This document provides guidance to students studying under the Short-Term Student Visitor Visa in the United Kingdom. It outlines their rights and responsibilities while enrolled at EELITE EDUCATION HUB.
2. Visa Overview
The Short-Term Student Visitor Visa allows international students to study in the UK for a period of up to 6 months (or 11 months for English language courses only). This visa is suitable for short-duration, non-degree programmes.
3. Student Rights
- To receive a high-quality education and support during your course.
- To access learning resources and participate fully in scheduled classes.
- To receive a letter of enrolment and a timetable after successful registration.
- To request support from the college regarding accommodation, academic progress, or general welfare.
- To request documentation such as attendance letters or academic confirmation for legitimate use.
4. Student Obligations
- You must not work (paid or unpaid) while in the UK under this visa.
- You must not extend your stay or switch to another visa category from within the UK.
- You must attend all classes regularly and on time.
- Keep your contact details up to date with the college.
- Inform the college immediately of any changes to your visa status or personal circumstances.
- Leave the UK before your visa expires.
5. College Monitoring
- Maintain attendance records.
- Report non-compliance with visa regulations.
- Support students in understanding UKVI expectations.
6. Important Notes
- The college is not responsible for breaches of immigration conditions.
- Non-compliance may result in reporting to UKVI and discontinuation of your studies.
- Always carry a copy of your passport and visa while travelling.
